Photo Diary: Easter and Other Stories

A little update from last month and now
Easter - the best holiday
I wore my new shoes today, they're from New Look and the socks are from Topshop
I went to Morrissey last month :) I seen him in November and he was amazing. He didn't disappoint this time either. The set list was quite similar to last year but he added a few more classics this time. Stop me if you think you've heard this one before, What She Said and The First of the Gang to Die were amazing. I'm really starting to get into World Peace is None of your Business now too.
So naturally, Ive been listening to The Smiths and Morrissey constantly. I usually listen to Meat Is Murder because its my fav <3
I was home for a week in March because I had a midterm break. I went to Derry shopping and picked up two amazing playsuits in Topshop. I got the one in the picture in the sale, it was reduced to £15! I also picked up this cute little black one. I wore it to Morrissey.
I went to a folk park in Wales last month. I really want a pet duck now, look how cute they are <3
me pretending to be a tree
I've been reading the March issue of i-D today (I'm always a month behind). It's the music issue and it features Lily Allen, Sky Ferreira and Alice Glass
I have such a long reading list for uni. Im determined to read William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury and Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald by the end of this month
I've been listening to Keep on Your Mean Side by the Kills today. I heard it for the first time last month and I'm really into it now

Photo Diary November Spawned A Monster

Sorry I haven't been able to post in ages :( but I'm back with some amazing news ---> I seen Morrissey live!!!
He opened with the Queen Is Dead, followed by Suedehead. I have to admit that I did get a little emotional mid-way through Suedehead hehe The atmosphere was amazing and I loved every moment of it
The setlist mostly consisted of his latest album, World Peace of None of Your Business. I like the title track but I think a lot of the other songs are quite lame (sorry Moz). He finished with Everyday is like Sunday. I couldn't have asked for a better encore <3
Belfast City Hall
I went to Belfast a few weeks ago to see Robert Plant for my Dad's birthday. To be honest, it was a pretty awful gig. Robert Plant has lost all his ability to perform and every song seemed to drag on forever. I would have left early if I wasn't with my family. Despite that, I had a lovely day in Belfast :)
I went to see Chris for his 21st :) He got a new guitar for his birthday (its in the background) I christened it Keef
I bought a build a bear. I named him Mick Jagger because he looks so groovy
I went to the Manic Street Preachers at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin last weekend. They played The Holy Bible in full before playing another setlist. I managed to dance to The Holy Bible which is a victory in my eyes :P James wore a sailor outfit and Niki wore an army jacket/glitter hehe
Im so glad to be home for Christmas, Im going to sit back and be lazy mess for a month :L

Photo Diary: Strawberry Wine

hey :) its been ages since I've updated. I started college in September and I've been so busy. I'm studying English, Film and Art History, majoring in English. This is a picture of my university, we have two lakes I have no idea why but it looks pretty...

I got a flat near the centre of town, its not that pretty but its near uni so I cant complain. I thought Id post some pictures from my instagram, I didn't bring my nikon with me this semester so I have been taking many pictures

I love this cute little velvet hairband from Topshop
(hairband - topshop, tshirt - river island, skirt - river island)

I'm going to wear this little red dress for Christmas, its from New Look

I wish I bought this top so much
(top - topshop skirt - river island)

Im so glad Im home for Christmas, I finally have time to read Morrissey's autobiography, hoping for some embarrassing teen stories

I went to see MGMT in October, it was fun, they had such a light show/video thing hehe and they played lots of songs from their second album which I love

I've been listening to lots more shoegaze recently, mostly this album on repeat. I made this mix for my friends birthday and it has some of my favourite shoegaze songs on it

I went to the Irish Museum Modern Art for Art History for assignment on contemporary art and I really liked this exhibition. It engages with the concept of beauty and aesthetic, presenting modern interpretations of Hogarth's Line of Beauty

I haven't got a Christmas jumper I feel so left out :( I'm not festive enough anyway hehe although I cant wait to spend all day watching movies and sleeping (◡‿◡)
