Its still raining here but I'm going to pretend that its sunny anyway and wear this straw hat indoors hehe. I really love this paisely top from topshop, its supposed to be worn off the shoulder but it was too cold for that :P

I was listening to this record today. It's the 40th anniversary release of Blondie' greatest hits, it also came with their newest album Ghosts of Download, a poster and a dvd of an early gig at the cbgbs (that I have yet to watch)
I'm selling these boots and some other things on depop, my username is emmamarieod. I'm shipping to Ireland, the uk and Europe :)

Topshop Unique Pre Fall Favourites

Topshop Unique Pre Fall 2015

Unique pleated dress, €305 / Unique embroidered dress, €265 / Unique silk crop top, €130 / Unique ruffle top, €115 / Unique oversized jacket, €305 / Unique skirt, €250 / Unique high rise shorts, €195 / Unique wide leg trousers, €115

I really like the seventies style of this year's Topshop Unique Pre Fall collection. I'm not surprised that the silk floral dress that Alexa Chung wore to the Topshop Unique show at London Fashion Week is now sold out. It's such a pretty dress and because its so lightweight it can be worn throughout summer. I think the velvet suit jacket is also very Alexa Chung. It reminds me of an outfit she wore to Glastonbury last year. The suede mustard skirt and the brown floral shirt are perfect for that awkward transition from summer to autumn. The tailored nude trousers look very sophisticated and would complete a clean minimalist look. I think the silver brocade dress and leather shorts would look amazing around the Christmas/New Year season. At London fashion week, the collection was also supported by Cara Delevingne who wore the white ruffled shirt with the Angie leather skirt and Jourdan Dunn who wore the Mason cropped leather jacket and shorts.

You can view the lookbook on Topshop's website here and shop the collection here

Midnight Rambler

sunglasses - river island
parka - topshop
top - topshop
shorts - miss selfridge

I really want to wear this outfit to a festival. I've been listening to my rolling stones albums today and now I'm in such a festival mood. I love this top so much, the fringing is so cool. I got it in Topshop ages ago but I didn't have any high waisted shorts to wear with it but I got these black ones in Miss Selfridge recently. They have some really nice shorts atm. I have such a love/hate relationship with this parka, I like the oversized look but I think I'm too short to pull it off hehe

Photo Diary: Easter and Other Stories

A little update from last month and now
Easter - the best holiday
I wore my new shoes today, they're from New Look and the socks are from Topshop
I went to Morrissey last month :) I seen him in November and he was amazing. He didn't disappoint this time either. The set list was quite similar to last year but he added a few more classics this time. Stop me if you think you've heard this one before, What She Said and The First of the Gang to Die were amazing. I'm really starting to get into World Peace is None of your Business now too.
So naturally, Ive been listening to The Smiths and Morrissey constantly. I usually listen to Meat Is Murder because its my fav <3
I was home for a week in March because I had a midterm break. I went to Derry shopping and picked up two amazing playsuits in Topshop. I got the one in the picture in the sale, it was reduced to £15! I also picked up this cute little black one. I wore it to Morrissey.
I went to a folk park in Wales last month. I really want a pet duck now, look how cute they are <3

I've been reading the March issue of i-D today (I'm always a month behind). It's the music issue and it features Lily Allen, Sky Ferreira and Alice Glass
I have such a long reading list for uni. Im determined to read William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury and Tender is the Night by F. Scott Fitzgerald by the end of this month
I've been listening to Keep on Your Mean Side by the Kills today. I heard it for the first time last month and I'm really into it now
